Boys Shutout Veazie
Demons Shutout Vikings

Kyle was nearly unhittable as he consistently pounded the strike zone and ended the day with 11 strikeouts.  Aiden came in for the final inning to add 1 more strikeout and not allow a hit.

Defensively for Dedham, Gilman and Nick made nice catched in right field and center field in the first inning, Aiden Dunn made a great play on a hard hit ball back to him in the 6th inning, and Ben Tate held onto a line shot hit to him to end the game.  The Demons didn't commit an error.

Dedham only managed 4 base hits on the day, but made lots of contact and took advantage of some costly Veazie errors.

Kyle Sidaway had a 2-run home run and reached on an error.  He also added 2 rbi's,  Nick Boyd walked and scored, Aiden Dunn reached on an error, was hit by a pitch, walked, stole a base, and scored.  Emery Audibert nearly cleared the fence with a blast to right field.  He singled, doubled, stole a base, had an rbi, and scored.  Josh Fish walked.  Gavin Pierce reached on an error as did his sub, Ben Tate.  Garrison Gonzales singled and scored.  Rowan Tate walked.  Gilman Taylor walked and scored.  Walter Coleman grounded out twice but one produced an rbi.  Joey Raymond reached base on a dropped 3rd strike and his pinch runner Jacob Preston later scored.

Noah Vallor, Ayden Boyer, Noah Fish, and Logan Drillen all had quality at-bats and supported the team throughout the game.  The boys are now 3-0 in league play and move into 1st place.

Today's game in Greenbush has been postponed and been moved to May 20th here at Dedham as part of a double-header that will begin at 3:00.

Congratulations on the nice win, boys!
