The Demons came out in the first quarter with their sails full of wind scoring 16 points while holding Veazie scoreless.  Clara Polakowski and Amelia Turner led the way with 4 points each.  The second quarter was a different story.  Veazie came storming back behind a full court press that ransacked Dedham’s less experienced players.  At halftime Dedham held a slim 18-16 lead. The 3rd quarter was all Dedham as they put both oars in the water scoring a whopping 29 points.   Abby Turner scored 12 of her game high 14 points to lead the way while Callie Hanscom and Mal Haulk both chipped in with 4 points.  Although Veazie battled back in the 4th quarter, it wasn’t enough with the final score Dedham 49 and Veazie 30.  Autumn Wardwell led the team in rebounding with 9 and Phoebe Robinson added 6.  Mal Haulk had a team high 8 pillages while Ella Madden and Mya Brown each had 4.   Mal and Amelia led the team with 4 assists each.  

Dedham is now 14-1 on the season and perfect 9-0 in league play!
