Demons Stop Panthers
4/29/24
Dedham Baseball Wins League Opener

The Panthers opened up the game with a quick 4 runs to take an early lead, but it was short lived as the Dedham

boys put up a 4 spot of their own in the bottom of the inning tying the game at 4-4. Runs were plenty as both teams wore out home plate but the Demons attack proved too much for the young Greenbush team as the boys in red got the win with the final score reading Dedham 15 and Greenbush 9.

Logan Butilier walked twice, stole 3 bases and scored 2 runs; Mason Ellington turned a double play also adding a single and a triple; Elliott Tankel walked twice, stole 4 bases and scored  2 runs; Ethan Olsen walked twice and scored 3 runs; Lyric Cogdell walked, stole a base and scored a run;

James England walked twice, stole 5 bases and pitched 3 stellar innings; Jake Monnier walked, stole 4 bases and scored 2 runs; Miles Dumont walked and stole a base; Tristan Goe single to right driving in a run; Matt Butler and Leo Sarr both walked and stole 2 bases; Gray Mattson made a great play in left field; Josh Begin was solid at second base and Michael Scholl patrolled right field. It was a great team win!

A special thank you to Mr. Pearson and Mr Butilier for stepping in to help out with umpiring duties!
