The Lady Demons are 1-0 in league play on the season. 

    Offensively, 7th grader Autumn Wardwell led the team with 3 hits, 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored. First year player Ashlyn Dearborn contributed two hits to help boost the lady Demons. Ellie, Ruth, Amelia and Mallorie each added hits for RBIs to contribute to the Demons success. The lady demon’s showed improved base running and confidence at the plate. Great work Dedham!

    Defensively, Mallorie Haulk started pitching with Amelia Turner as her catcher. They worked well together! Mallorie had all 6 outs in the first two innings recorded as strike outs. Amelia worked hard behind the plate to hustle to pass balls. Autumn Wardwell took over the mound in the third inning and pitched a phenomenal four innings! Autumn accumulated 5 strike outs in her debut for Dedham and Mallorie Haulk caught for her doing a great job hustling to pass balls. Mal and Autumn worked together to prevent two runs from scoring and tagged runners out trying to steal home twice. 

    Highlight of the game was Amelia Turner’s triple that turned into her and Mallorie scoring at home on an error in the first inning. Way to go Amelia!
