Demons Fall Short to Red Devils It was an exciting game from the start the Devils and the Demons were both playing aggressive baseball from the first pitch.
Holbrook took the early lead but the Demons matched them run for run as the teams entered the 5th inning knotted up 6 to 6. Holbrook came out swinging putting up 5 runs in the final 2 innings taking a commanding 11-6 advantage heading into the bottom of
the 6th inning. The Demons were determined and fought hard until the final out falling just short to the Devils with a final score of 11-10.
Logan Butilier walked, singled and stole 2 based; Mason Ellington played great defense at first; Elliot Tankel had 2 singles and 3 stolen bases; Ethan Olsen singled, walked and scored 3 runs; James England walked twice, hit a double and stole 2 bases; Lyric Cogdell walked scored a run and pitched 4 innings;
Tristan Goe; walked and scored a run; Josh Begin and MIles Dumont played tough defense at second base; Gray Mattson, Matt butler, Michael Scholl and Leo Saar all played great team defense in the outfield; Jake Monnier had a great catch in center field, stole 2 bases and scored a run.
It was a great afternoon for baseball and this Dedham team is improving every day. Great job team!
