A total team effort propelled the Demon Baseball team to victory! The temps were cool but the bats were red hot
as the Demons recorded 12 hits and scored a season high 14 runs! Defense, pitching and hitting was the name of the game with every one of the 14 team members doing something
to contribute to the 14-1 final score.
James England let the charge pitching 5 plus innings striking out 9 Greenbush batters all well helping his own cause recording 2 singles and 2 stolen bases on the afternoon;
Mason Ellington walked, doubled and made a sensational play on a hard ground ball to first; Elliot Tankel walked, smashed a line drive triple to left field, threw out a runner trying to steal second;
Ethan Olsen, Josh Begin, Matt Butler, Tristen Goe all chipped in with singles; Jake Monnier singled, walked and stole 2 bases; Gray Mattson, Leo Saar and Michael School all walked
displaying great plate discipline; Matt Butler singled and scored 2 runs; Logan Butilier hit 2 singles stole 2 bases; Lyric Cogdell walked twice, scored a run and closed the game out pitching the bottom
of the 6th inning to seal the Dedham win.
A great win but most importantly your growth as a team is really showing.
