Dedham Demons battle hard with Holbrook B

Offensively for the Demons, facing the best pitching we’ve seen all year, Amelia Turner earned herself a game ball with a beautifully hit home run! Mallorie Haulk added 3 singles and an RBI. Autumn Wardwell contributed 2 hits - a single and a double - and 2 RBIs in the contest. Also contributing hits in the game were Clara Polakowski, Ashlyn Dearborn and Ellie Mattson. 

Defensively, the lady Demons made some great plays in the field! Mallorie Haulk caught a fly ball in the 6th and turned a double play at second base - great job! Autumn Wardwell and Ashlyn Dearborn split time catching behind the plate. Amelia did a great job holding down the corner at first and Autumn did a great job when she transitioned to third base part way through the game. 

The lady Demons have two remaining regular season contests this week and are looking forward to celebrating our 8th graders! Playoffs begin next week - let’s go Demons!
