Leading the team offensively for the Demons was with a homerun, single and 4 RBIs was 8th grader Amelia Turner. Autumn Wardwell contributed a single and double and Clara Polakowski connected for a double in the first inning! Natty O’Neill had an RBI single on the night and Mallorie Haulk layed down a nice bunt in the 4th as well. All lady Demons got on base and worked to score the maximum 4 runs per inning. 

    Defensively Natty O’Neill and Autumn Wardwell shared the pitching duties. Mallorie and Ashlyn shared catching responsibilities behind the plate. In the third inning, Mallorie had all three outs with a nice tag play on a drop third strike. She followed that with a sharp throw to Ashlyn at third for out number two and then she fired the ball to Clara covering at second base to connect for an out on a runner trying to steal. Ashlyn also made a phenomenal play on a pop fly to third in the first. Autumn Wardwell pitched innings 2-6 and 3 strike outs. The entire team played well in the field and got to rotate to many different positions throughout the game. Great work ladies!
