Demons Headed to Championship Game! The All Saint crew tested the young Dedham team early busting out of the gate with a quick 2 runs in the top of the first inning to take a quick lead. Dedham was unfazed and went beast mode, batting through the order and pounding out 7 hits and taking a commanding 11-2 lead. It was all Dedham from there as the Demons coasted to a 15-5 victory to earn a trip to the championship game on Thursday!
James England shook off the rust in the first inning pitching 3 innings to earn the win; Logan Butilier continued to set the table for our big hitters getting on base grinding out 2 singles; Mason Ellington added 2 singles and closed things out striking out the final batter; Elliott Tankel was our team leader behind the plate and swung a hot bat hitting a single and broke the game open with a home run clearing the bases; Ethan Olsen pounded the baseball with 2 singles and a triple; Jake Monnier singled, scored a run and had a big catch in center field to stop a All Saint rally; Matt Butler played great defense at second base, hit a double and scored a run; Leo Saar and Miles Dumont both showed great patience at the plate earning a walk and scoring a run. Tristen Goe and Josh Begin both played good outfield defense to help us close out the game.
A Great win boys! One more to go!!
